Of course, withdrawals are currently made via the live chat. We're able to organise a withdrawal in AUD or BTC.

AUD withdrawals are credited into your nominated bank account, which you can view from the settings.

BTC withdrawals are quite easy to do, just let us know the amount, and we'll send it to the wallet address linked to your account. There is a 2% fee on all AUD withdrawals, and a 0.0003 BTC fee on all BTC withdrawals.

To make a withdrawal, you'll need to have your identity verified in the app. You can do this via the 'profile' screen.

As a digital currency exchange provider, we have an obligation to carry out customer identification procedures regardless of the value of the transaction. You can find out more information about this here.

Once verified, message us via the app and please specify the type of withdrawal and amount. If you would like a BTC withdrawal, please ensure you have a wallet address linked with your account.

Absolutely, this is currently a manual process so simply message us via the live chat in the app and we'll organise for this to be done. Please note as per our KYC policy, we may require some extra verification if you're updating your linked bank account.

Amber currently charges a 2% exchange fee for each Bitcoin purchase, and our direct debit provider charges 25 cents per transaction.

We're currently one of the cheapest in Australia, and our aim is to continue to bring that down as volume builds, so make sure you tell all your friends about Amber!

Amber stores all of your Bitcoin in cold storage. Cold storage involves keeping the Bitcoin in an offline reserve.
